Surrey-based haulage company Frederick R Miller Ltd (FRM) have been a valued Palletways member since 2002 servicing GU, KT and RH postcodes. During this period the business has seen pallet volumes steadily rise to the point that today over 4,500 pallets are collected and delivered each week making FRM one of Palletways largest members. Such impressive volumes combined with a performance accuracy constantly running at over 98% the FRM operation just shows what hard work, high standards and a focus upon customer satisfaction can achieve in this challenging sector.

The business currently operates 30 vehicles and 8 double-deck trailers and employs a total workforce of over 50. The range of palletised products transported is extremely diverse and includes dog food, furniture, building materials, paint, board games and garden materials all of which are delivered via the extensive Palletways European network consisting of 450+ depots and over 20 hub operations. Customers can benefit from a UK next-day delivery service as well as an extensive European delivery and collection service. The Palletways network also places a very high priority upon the latest technology to ensure that all pallets are accurately tracked and traced throughout their journey to their end destination.
A veteran of over 20 years with the business, Operations Manager Andy Mayne is responsible for the challenge of coordinating night-time trunking to the Palletways hub and daily pallet deliveries and collections. Andy and his team work tirelessly to achieve and maintain their high standards and reputation throughout the Palletways network and across their local customer base. The delivery performance in terms of this operation as well as the wider Palletways network is first class and customers can be confident that their palletised goods will be tracked and delivered in a safe and timely manner.
Working closely with Andy, Customer Services Manager, Claire Cookman is the touchpoint for all enquiries relating to collections and deliveries, Claire and her team work hard to answer customer queries and resolve any problems that may arise. Claire’s values embody those of FRM - an honest, courteous, timely, and informative answer. This approach has been fundamental to the success of the business over the last 30 years and Claire is unwavering in maintaining and improving these high standards.
As part of a holistic offering to their customers, FRM can also provide a range of warehouse solutions including long/short-term palletised storage, tipping containers for onward shipment and small pick and pack operations.
