Frederick R Miller in Surrey has recruited three new team members to support and develop its business in Guildford and the surrounding area.

The new arrivals – Claire Cookman, Amanda Gage and David Griffin – will take on roles as the customer services manager, operational support and telesales operative respectively.

Managing Director, Adrian Westwood, said: “These appointments are due to our continued business expansion and a desire to further strengthen our customer services and sales teams. They each bring a wealth of experience and knowledge and we look forward to benefitting from their experience, drive and enthusiasm. They’ll be great assets within our strategy to further develop our customer base, grow the order book and strengthen the Frederick R Miller brand in the local area.”

Amanda joins in an operational support role where she will be involved in all aspects of its office functions, before taking responsibility for specific projects. Her background is one of operations, compliance and project management.

Finally, David takes on the role of telesales operative, a new venture to stimulate sales, working closely with the company’s sales team. He has an extensive background in sales and brings an enormous amount of experience to the business.

Barry Byers, Network Director at Palletways UK, concludes: “”While the Palletways network centres on infrastructure like hubs and depots, essentially we’re a people-based business. Investment in high quality people is where we can differentiate and drive customer service excellence and business growth.”
